We have added some tips on the event page
The store is very low in our priority list. There are too many items, and it's always changing, so it's hard for us admins to keep track of all the items.
We still need to rework the store page entirely, and it will take us time to do it.
Looks like it, Android is working fine for me. it's ver. 3.8.2 btw
It might be related to the time extension, like they forgot to extend the medal reward timeframe for those minigames, so they act as if the event ended.
I would not be surprised if this is the case, and it's not on purpose, but of course it makes it difficult for players that are close to their goal
it doesn't seem like something that can be fixed on the user's end. It's quite common to have heavy bugs when a new event is coming (and while the official channels haven't said anything, we have clues we'll get one soon).
Submit a ticket to the customer support, the best way to have this fixed is letting them know there's a problem.
We have all the instuctions in the Community -> Contacting the game devs on the top bar.
We depend on other players telling us about the codes, we just share them here. Codes are usually released in Nort America for advertising, and none of the currently active admins in this wiki live there, so we don't have more chances than you to actually find one.
Yes, it needs to be adult, no matter the level. I could bring my light fury even at levels below 10.
So if you use an age-up ticket on low level dragons, you can still bring them to DT.
I don't love the idea of hybrid dragons either.I haven't watched Dawn of the New Riders, but I can understand why games like Titan Uprising introduced them. They need to add a bunch of new dragons quite often to keep players interested, and breeding for hybrids is an interesting game mechanics. But here, where the rate of new dragons is much lower, I think the hybrid path is just a lazy path for the devs, to introduce new dragons with just a few changes to a previous model. Mind you, I really despise even dragon like the fire terror, or the double sentinel and hobgobblers. It's just lazy.I have all dragons in the game except the fire terror and (normal) hobgobbler. It bothers me, but I really can't see a reason to get them. Well, I got the skeleton skin for the hobgobbler, so I'll need to buy it some day, so we can add the pics of the skin to the wiki. The skin is cool, but really there's no reason why the 2 varieties need separate skins that looks exactly the same (and of course I had to get the one for the dragon I don't have).
And lore wise, yeah I want to see how they explain it. In the quests Hiccup says something vague like "changes are happening in the archipelago", but considering the wild Speed Stingers are absolutely afraid of the Dreadstrider, it doesn't make any sense an hybrid could have been created in the first place (naturally).
Now that I have it, I can say I'm not sure if it's worth it. Like, if you need to buy gems with real money to get it, I'd say no, unless you really really love its design.
Racing: good stats on paper, really easy to handle, but the low acceleration is a big downside. Even with a speed boost at the beginning it's not better than a Light Fury with no boosts.
Battle Events. decent range and speed of firing. But the Skrillknapper is way better, even with a lower base damage, for its crazy critical chance. Dreadstrider critical chance: non existant.
Dragon Tactics: 50% stun only on the second attack? Really??? Both its parent dragons have it on their first attack, and I would expect an hybrid to have it at least 100%, if not on both attacks. I'm sorry but the Flightmare with a multi-target and stun first attack is much superior. I still need to check if any of its attacks are multi-target, but it won't better things by much.
When the Dreadstrider was teased, players that already achieved the Skrillknapper could see the progress bar was not complete, and actually calculate how many candies it would need. So it was no surprise for me. I have a good routine in game so I know I will get it without spending gems (but I have a good amount saved in case of emergency), but I think it was a horrible idea to add it to the Dreadfall event.
People are already struggling to reach the 15k mark. The event started with a lot of bugs, and some are still around. This forced the devs to add days to the event, but if that was not the case, how many days left we would have at this point to gather the extra 5k needed for this dragon? Sure, the gifts of 500+1000 candies helped, but those were a compensation for the days lost for the malfunctioning of the game, not really a gift.
Is the dragon itself worth it? Sure, I like it, and if the stats published in the forum are correct, it will be an amazing racing dragon. I'm also curious to see its attacks for DT (if it's available already).
Please stop spamming this page asking for new codes. We can't create them by magic. The ones posted are codes that generous players shared with us. That's all we have right now. If we'll get new ones, we will surely post them here. But asking over and over again is useless, and rude.
Really are we making drama on a page that helps you get stuff for free???
If this goes on we will start deleting comments that have nothing to do with the topic (that is: redeeming codes).
Unfortunately the only advice we have is to Contact the game devs.
Follow the link for a list of options you have to do it.
I am on Discord also, so that's not a problem. We should make an admin-only channel though (a free one would need mods - and who has the time for it?)
I'm on the SoD forum (under my main viking's name: Talestri) so we can communicate there through pm.
I'm making a quest flow chart in Google docs. it's not the best way to do it, but for now it's useful so it could be edited and updated by more users.
Right now it's view-only, because I don't know if we should make it public and editable by anyone, or only by wiki admins+collaborators? (Do we admins have a way to communicate privately here on the wiki anyway?)
