Titan Stage was released in v1.19.0, April 20th, 2016, unlike the usual Growth Cycle, Titans are treated as an Upgrade to the Dragon - boosted Stats and a modified appearance. The method to achieve this Stage is vastly different, and only 36 have a Titan Stage.

Requirements[]

In order to achieve the Titan Stage, the Dragon must be a Level 20 Adult with an available Titan Stage. If the Dragon lacks said Stage or lacks the required Level, the game will bring the Titan Coming Soon pop-up with a list of available Titans, and the Age-up pop-up respectively. Because Titan is the final Stage, 3 total Age-ups can be used depending on the Growth Stage of the active Dragon, Baby to Titan (1000 Gems), Teen to Titan (750 Gems), and Adult to Titan (500 Gems).

The other requirement are 50 Titan Runes. Titan Runes Titan rune are a special collectible that serves as "currency", these are strictedly only used to titan a Dragon and can only be found in Stable Missions - Rune Missions that only appear in Slot 2, 3, and 6 but are really rare and harder to complete, only Level 20+ Adult Dragons and Titan Dragons are eligible, the changes are often very slim, and tend to be very long, Beyond the Archipelago (Slot 3) is by far the longest Rune Mission, 168 hours (a week) for 10 Titan rune.

The other way to get Runes is from the Dragon Tactics/ Runestone levels. However, these are very rare drops.

The last Requirement is the Dragon Hearth at The Hatchery won't do, players must head to Titan Island to titan their Dragon. After gathering all the requirements, the player has to click the Dragon emblem to activate the Titan process, a pop-up will show the Titan Rune progress, a button to exit, and another to be sent to Stable Missions. If the player is ready to Titan the Dragon, select "Age Up" and then "Yes" to confirm the growth.

A small Animation will play of the Dragon curling while being engulfed in flame, revealing the Dragon in the final Growth Stage. Afterwards, player get to customize the coloration one last time for free. If the Dragon is already Titan, a pop-up will state just that ("Your dragon is already titan!").

Titan Modifications[]

Dragons titan coloration

An example of the unchanged color placement being modified by the Titan Stage

Titans greatly modify the appearance of a Dragon, this includes increasing its size, give as more meaner or harsher look, apply extra details like additional spikes and defined scales, and in some cases, give a more "exotic" coloration. The coloration however is the biggest change in some, if not, most Titans. Due to lack of Titan preview, players won't be aware of the coloration modifications and will titan Dragons with the false belief of the coloration remaining the same, and like any other Growth Stage, it can't be undone.

Take for example the Triple Stryke, as seen on the right, the Adult Triple Stryke has Cyan for Body (bottom of the body), Blue for Pattern (stripes and tips), and Black for Details (top of the body). Once Titan, the coloration was greatly modified - Body is now all the body, Pattern is now only the tips and soft spots on the tail, and Details are the stripes. The underbelly, feet claws and spikes are also uncolorable, meaning they use the default coloration.

Titan Boost[]

When Titans were released, the only Titan Boost it gave was Base Damage and the Battle Health, it's only in October 13th, 2020, v3.12.0 where both Combat and Racing Stats are also boosted.

Racing Boost[]

In spite of the Stat cards demonstrating a significant difference between a Titan and an Adult, truth be told, there is no Racing Boost. The real flight data shares no difference between the two, and if a player tests both on a singleplayer race, using the same flight pattern for all the laps, the same Track, and no boosts, only seconds of difference from human error will show.

Players have highlighted this[1][2] and warned other players of this non-change, it's unknown if the developers are aware of this.

Battle Boost[]

In Battle Stats, Titans boost the Base Damage and the Battle Health, the amount it increases depends on the Species - while Sand Wraiths only increase by one (11 to 12), Snow Wraith increase by 3 (25 to 28). The critical damage also increases accordingly, meaning a Titan Sand Wraith will do 24 instead of the Adult's 22.

Base Damage difference

Battle Health also increases, allowing a higher resistance against the Battle Ships' attacks, though the amount it increases varies with Species as well. This element is widely confused with Dragon Tactics' Health, though are used in different way:

  • Dragon Tactics' Health is used exclusively in Dragon Tactics, and goes over 2000 HP.
  • Battle Health is used exclusively in Battle Events, and is often replaced with the Avatar's Health in minigames like Underwater Sections.

Before March 12th, 2018, v2.11, the Battle Health would constantly switch between Dragon's and Avatar's whenever the layer mounted and dismounted respectively. The Adventurer XP would also influence the Health, meaning the Avatar could level up and increase the Dragon's Health instead if they were mounted - though the max level (35 at the time) result would still be equal. Currently, it's unknown if games created pre-v2.11 with Avatars below Lvl. 35 still influence the Battle Health.

Battle Health difference

The only dragon whose Cooldown is reduced in Titan is the Thunderdrum, reducing its 0.9 to 0.5, greatly increasing it Damage per Second.

Combat Boost[]

Unlike Racing Stats, Titans do indeed boost these stats. Titans increase only three attributes (Attackpower, Firepower, and Movement) and the Health, meaning they're not only more resistant against damage, they're also stronger and can travel further into the battlefield.
