This minigame allows you to challenge friends against who has the fastest time. |
The singleplayer mode allows players to fly solo and get used to the track layout, find the shortcuts and hoops, remember the Checkpoint placement and perfect their technique. Essentially, it's a practice ground before entering the Multiplayer track. The reward for completing a single player track is always 25 , 25 and 20 .
Singleplayer is also perfect for collecting Target Sheep, as you don't have to worry about ending in first place and losing trophies.
In order to enter single player racing, you need to click "Single Mode" in the lobby and it will send you to a selection screen with the respective tracks.
In the selection screen, you can choose whichever track you want and, after selecting, click play and you will be loaded up on the respective track. In December 2nd, 2018, v2.15, the Snoggletog Raceway was added to the Singeplayer track list.
Inside the track, you'll notice an UI on the right side of the screen - this is the UI that always appears whenever you enter a track/race:
- Timer: This is what indicates how long you take to do the 3 laps;
- # of laps: The current lap out of the 3 laps - the game gives you a small warning whenever you get the second or final lap and the respective time you took to complete them;
- # of place: Your current place - in single player, it will always place you in 1st;
- Track's Map: The layout of the track;
- Checkpoint: It's marked as a green oval dot and it will only disappear from the map if you go through it;
- You: It's marked as a blue dot and it will always follow your position - opponents are marked as a red dot instead;
You cannot earn trophies in single player mode; you are given the option to challenge up to 10 of your friends or clanmates. For every challenger that you beat, you win five trophies; for every challenger that you lose to, five trophies are deducted. The important factor in challenging others is to only initiate a challenge if you feel like your time for that race cannot be beat.
